Donation to Thailand Flood Relief Operations Centre
Severe flooding occurred during the 2011 monsoon season in Thailand. Beginning in late July 2011, Thailand experienced major flooding that soon spread through the provinces of Northern, Northeastern and Central Thailand along the Mekong and Chao Phraya river basins. As of October 18, the disaster affects more than 2.3 million people and has caused damage estimated to reach 156.7 billion baht ($5.1 billion).
