NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NO. 1/2015 (TUESDAY, 28TH APRIL 2015)

Dear Valued Members,

Notice for Annual General Meeting No. 1/2015 (Tuesday, 28th April 2015)

We are pleased to inform that Annual General Meeting No. 1/2015 of the Thai-Hong Kong Trade Association will be held on Tuesday, 28th April 2015 from 18:00 – 21.00 hrs. at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Bangkok, Evergreen Hall, 2nd Floor.

We invite you also to attend:   Registration 18:00 – 18:30 p.m.
  Meeting Commences   18.30 – 19.30 p.m.
  Chinese Set Dinner 19:30 – 21:00 p.m.

According to the Association’s By-Law, the term of our twelve (12) directors of the board will be expired in April 2015. We hereby request nomination for new directors to serve on the board for the coming one-year term. The directors currently serving the board are as follow:

1. Mr. Danny Yu President
2. Mr. Leslie Lu Vice President
3. Mr. Kendy Chan Vice President
4. Mr. Charlie Chan Vice President
5. Mr. S.K. Kwok Treasurer
6. Ms. Gea Okuda Director
7. Mr. Margo Chan Director
8. Mr. Simon Shum Director
9. Mr. Chao Chitkrongtham   Director
10. Ms. Christy Yeung Director
11. Mr. That Shuphaphong Director
12. Mr. Johnny Seet Director

Under Article 17 of the Articles of Assocation, the following current director is no longer eligible for re-election (having served Four (4) consecutive terms and not being in the position of President, Vice President or Treasurer):

1. Ms. Gea Okuda   Director

If you would like to propose the election of any person, please submit the nomination form to THTA before Friday, 24th April 2015 so that we could obtain the nominee’s agreement to serve the Board.

s we need to have a quorum of at least one-quarter (1/4) of our Corporate Members to convene the Annual General Meeting No. 1/2015, please note that your attendance in person or by proxy is most appreciated. Only Ordinary members can vote in Annual General Meetings and be elected as Directors. Affiliate members are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting No. 1/2015 but may not vote or hold office as director.
