THTA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2019 ON 29 APRIL 2019

Invitation to Annual General Meeting No. 1/2019 of Thai-Hong Kong Trade Association
(Monday, April 29, 2019)

Dear Valued Members,
We are pleased to inform you that Annual General Meeting No. 1/2019 of the Thai-Hong Kong Trade Association (THTA) will be held on April 29, 2019 (Monday) from 18:00 to 21:00 Hrs. at Grand Hall, 28th Floor, The Bangkok Club, Sathorn City Tower, 28th -31st Floor, 175 South Sathorn Road, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120.

The schedule is as follows:
Registration   18:00 Hrs.
Start of AGM   18.30 Hrs.
Start of Dinner   19:30 Hrs.

We have eleven (11) directors as of 31 March 2019 and according to the Association’s Bylaws, the term of our directors will expire in April 2019. The directors currently serving the board are as follows:
1. Mr. Danny Yu   President
2. Mr. Kendy Chan   Vice President
3. Mr. Kendrick Ko   Vice President
4. Ms. Christy Yeung   Vice President
5. Mr. Henry Choi   Treasurer
6. Mr. S K Kwok   Director
7. Ms. Caroline Kwan   Director
8. Mr. Margo Chan   Director
9. Mr. Ken Yong   Director
10. Mr. Frank Xu   Director
11. Ms. Laura Young   Director

In addition the following directors have each served the maximum term under the Bylaws and are not eligible for re-election:
1. Ms. Christy Yeung
2. Mr. S K Kwok

We hereby request nominations for the election of directors (maximum of 12 directors) to serve on the board for the coming one-year term.

If you would like to propose/nominate any person for election, please submit the nomination form to THTA on/before April 24, 2019, so that we can have the election on April 29, 2019 to serve the Board in the coming one-year term.

As we need to have a quorum of at least one-quarter (1/4) of our Ordinary Members to convene the Annual General Meeting No. 1/2019, please note that your attendance in person or by proxy is most appreciated. Only Ordinary members are eligible to be elected to be directors and have the right to vote in Annual General Meetings. Affiliate members are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting No. 1/2019 but will not have the right to vote or to hold office as director.
